Job Description

- Location Onsite at HPW Fresh and Dry Ltd, Adeiso, E/R
Job Purpose
- The daily management, treatment, and supply of uninterrupted water supply
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Treatment and supply of water for the facilities and compliance with the standards.
- Operate and monitor control panels, pumps, valves, and other equipment to regulate the flow and treatment of water.
- Adjust chemical dosing (chlorine, alum, lime, NaOH, polymers) to maintain optimal treatment performance.
- Conduct visual inspections and report all dysfunctional components or processes on the treatment plant to the supervisor.
- Comply with all the procedures stated in the SOP for the water treatment process.
- Carry out routine process controls, such as the monthly disinfection of the distribution lines.
- Analyze and record both raw and treated water qualities (pH, Chlorine residual, Turbidity, TDS) twice daily.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international water quality regulations such as HPW standards, Ghana standards, and WHO guidelines.
- Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, filters, and other plant equipment.
- Take monthly water samples for external analysis.
- Keep records of all activities in the treatment plant.
- Adhere to health and safety standards at the workstation.
- Adhere to food safety standards at the workstation.
- Monitor and record daily water consumption at various stations.
- Submit weekly reports on water quality and consumption to the supervisor.
