Job Description

The School is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) who will work on an independent contractor basis to join our inclusive learning support team.

The successful candidate will provide services to students from Pre-K through Grade 12, providing individualized and small-group therapy to enhance speech, language, and communication development. Required Skills or Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, experience, and abilities.

Qualifications & Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Valid license/certification in Speech-Language Pathology

Key Knowledge, Experience & Abilities

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with children ages 3-18 in educational settings
  • Understanding of international education environments (preferred)
  • Knowledge of developmental speech and language milestones and disorders
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Familiarity with technology and digital tools such as google, word documents, excel, AAC devices
  • Training in specific therapeutic approaches (e.g., PROMPT, V&V, etc.
