Job Description

A Reputable Multinational Company

JOB PURPOSE
The Security Officer shall assist the Security Manager in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures. 

The role reports to the Security Manager.
 
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT
  • Patrols industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensures security of doors, windows and gates.
  • Answers alarm and investigates disturbances.
  • Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintains security of premises.
  • Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Calls police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Performs any other duties assigned

Required Skills or Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
  • WASSE or Higher Qualification.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years work experience in similar role.
  • Must be able to work shifts.
  • Clean criminal background.
  • Must be able to physically perform tasks required of the role.
  • Knowledge of any type of martial arts a plus.
  • Ability to read and write.
