Job Description

A school located at Adenta, Accra Ghana, seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and qualified Additional Mathematics teacher to join its faculty. The ideal candidate should have experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics and a passion for inspiring students to explore human behavior and mental processes through an engaging, inquiry-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level specifications.
• Foster a stimulating classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, discussion, and a love for learning.
• Assess and report on student progress in accordance with school and Cambridge standards.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students preparing for external examinations

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

• A degree in Mathematics or a closely related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Mathematics is strongly required.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
