JOB PURPOSE

To support the optimal performance of the business by analysing Operational reports and market research as well as strategizing ideas to improve business operations based on emerging trends and best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform data discovery, analysis and modeling
  • Gather, validate and document business requirements.
  • Analyze commercial data such as budgets, sales results and forecasts
  • Model business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.
  • Identify specific business opportunities
  • Gather and analyze data for potential business expansion
  • Influence stakeholders to support business projects
  • Assist with project management for selected projects
  • Test business processes and recommend improvements
  • Analyze process issues and bottlenecks and make improvements
  • Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and interpret industry and non-industry related propositions and customer trends

Required Skills or Experience

Education:

  • A good first degree in Statistics, Business Analytics or any relevant field
  • Chartered Insurance status is an added advantage

  • A business acumen partnered with a knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques
