Job Description

A Bioscience laboratory located at Adjiringanor in Accra is hiring Marketing & Business Development Manager to join its growing team.

The Marketing & Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying new markets, forging strategic partnerships, and leading integrated marketing efforts. This role aligns sales and marketing strategies with the company’s vision to maximize market share in laboratory services and medical research products.

Business Development:

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new market opportunities to expand corporate sales.
  • Forge and maintain strategic alliances with clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and insurers.
  • Develop and execute an annual sales plan with clear targets and milestones.
  • Lead the business development team, providing training, performance feedback, and joint client visits.
  • Monitor sales pipelines, forecast revenue, and adjust strategies to exceed targets.

Marketing:

  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print and event channels
  • Conduct market research to analyze customer needs, competitive offerings, and emerging trends.
  • Optimize campaign performance using analytics and A/B testing.
  • Manage budgets and timelines for all marketing initiatives

Marketing Communications:

  • Coordinate public relations activities to strengthen brand reputation.
  • Create newsletters, presentations, and collateral to support sales and partnership efforts.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints

Required Skills or Experience

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven track record in biotech, diagnostics, or related healthcare sectors
  • At least 10 years in business development, marketing, or communications roles.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; confident in executive presentations.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM platforms.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing key accounts.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work independently.
  • High level of initiative, integrity, and adaptability in dynamic environments
