Role Summary
The Associate Director of Operations & Strategy is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping and executing the company’s strategic roadmap, optimizing day-to-day operations, and driving sustainable growth. This role partners closely with the CEO to foster innovation, build high-performance teams, and ensure operational excellence across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO to develop and refine the company’s strategic plan, setting priorities that align with long-term growth objectives.
- Operational Oversight: Supervise daily operations, streamline processes, and implement best practices to meet or exceed profitability, sales, and performance targets.
- Team Leadership: Mentor department heads and managers, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Policy & Process Development: Establish and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and align with strategic goals.
- Business Growth & Innovation: Identify new market opportunities, support business development efforts, and collaborate on projects that deliver financial and social impact.
- Project Management: Oversee critical projects and initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with company objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in external forums, build relationships with regulators, accreditation bodies, suppliers, and key partners.
Required Skills or Experience
Educational Qualifications/Experience
- An MBA or advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Management or related field (highly preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within the biomedical, healthcare, or related sectors
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strategic thinker with strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; effective at board and executive levels.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams, driving change, and managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong understanding of strategic planning and execution.
- Familiarity with international accreditation standards and regulatory compliance.
- Unwavering commitment to quality programs and excellence in organizational and project management with the ability to achieve strategic objectives and manage a budget.

- Strong business acumen, budgeting experience, and financial literacy.
