Job Description

A Full-Time Maths & Science Teacher is required for employment in the next academic term, at a Private Christian Basic (Primary and Junior High) School. Duties will be

• To plan the effective teaching and learning of Maths & Science for pupils
• To teach and provide learning opportunities in Maths & Science for pupils.

Required Skills or Experience

• BEd in Maths and Science or BSc in Maths and Science with a PGDE or similar qualification
• Must have completed their National Service
• Three years of Post Qualification experience in a similar setting: ie a Private Christian Basic (Primary and JHS) School
• Familiarity with the New National Curriculum.
• A good written and spoken command of the English Language
• Should be able to demonstrate Critical Thinking Skills
• ICT proficiency
• Must be able to participate in all aspects of school activities - academic and co-curricular.

Remuneration will be comensurate with qualifications and experience.

Successful candidates will be required to set a good example in terms of punctuality, attendance, behaviour and dress to enhance the School's reputation and standing with parents and pupils.
