CARE began operations in Ghana in 1994 by working to educate mining areas about sexual health and the prevention of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. CARE Ghana now works with more than 40 partner organizations to implement a portfolio of projects worth about US$9 million annually in 150 districts across the country, from our main office in Accra and sub-offices in Kumasi, Sunyani and Tamale. For 30 years, CARE has been working in Ghana to improve livelihoods and achieve social justice through interventions that address the underlying causes of poverty. Job Description

AUCTION OF ASSETS

Background
CARE works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty, and achieve social justice. CARE International in Ghana (“CARE Ghana”), a branch of US-based International NGO CARE USA, began operations in Ghana in 1994.

CARE wishes to auction some assets through sealed bid and the highest bidder for each asset becomes the winner.

CARE offices are open to interested bidders who wish to inspect the assets during working hours between (8:00am – 5:00pm) where they are located.

Bidding is by “as is where basis.”

Interested persons are invited to collect bid forms from the following CARE offices; Accra, Kumasi, Sunyani and Tamale for completion and submit them in a SEALED ENVELOP to the address below on or before 18th August by 5:00pm. Please ensure to put one bid in one envelope.

Indicate your name and contact and quote the Asset Description, registration and Chassis number and Asset Identification Number for Motorbikes and vehicles, Asset Description, Serial Number and Asset Identification number for other assets and bid amount when bidding.
