Production of Videos/Audios for the Phase II of Healthy Future for All Project
Background

SNV has been present in Ghana since 1992 and is currently implementing the Healthy Future for All (HF4A) project in the Nandom and Lambussie Districts of the Upper West Region. Spanning from 2022 to 2024, HF4A aims to enhance the quality of life for all residents, with a specific focus on improving the hygienic environment for children under 15 years old, both at home and in school. The project aligns with national strategies and supports Ghana's pursuit of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 6, which targets universal access to water and sanitation by 2030.
Healthy Future for All – Phase 1: WASH in Nandom and Lambussie” was implemented from Jan 2022 to Dec 2024, to improve the quality of life for all and specifically increase the number of children under 15 years, growing up in a hygienic environment at home and in school. “Healthy Future for All – Phase 2: WASH in Nandom and Lambussie” (HF4A II) builds upon Phase 1 and continues to focus on Ghana´s Nandom and Lambussie districts. This goal will be achieved through a variety of interventions in water, sanitation and hygiene, and the specific goals are to increase the number of children with access to basic sanitation and hygiene facilities at home and school and practicing hygiene behaviours.
Objective of Assignment
SNV Ghana is looking for an experienced video production team to lead the video production and finalization process for several videos intended to:
- Educate and Demonstrate Practical Solutions: To visually educate community members on how to construct improved sanitation facilities and simple handwashing stations using local materials and techniques.
- Promote Key Hygiene Behaviors and Health Benefits: To reinforce handwashing with soap at critical times and the consistent use of household toilets as essential behaviors for preventing diseases and improving family health.
- Inspire Action Through Real-Life Testimonials: To showcase positive stories from individuals and households who have constructed and are using toilets and practicing regular handwashing, motivating others to use innovative local solutions and material substitutions that improve durability and affordability of latrines.
Activity Location
- The Filming and Audio recording will be completed/executed at the Project Districts in Nandom Municipality and Lambussie Districts.

Roles/Responsibilities
- Pre-production: Organize all equipment and personnel related to video, photography and audio production.
- Production: Record videos, photographs, audios as required for the outputs.
- Post-production: Editing of films and audio, corrections of photographs. Record voice overs and background scores as required. Include logos, disclaimers and credits in all materials as instructed by SNV.
- Submission: Provide final versions of the films, audio and photography with subtitles for feedback.
- Revision: Based on feedback, revising the films, audio and photography to the satisfaction of SNV.
Timing/Duration of Assignment
- Duration: The contract with the service provider will fall under the HF4A II Project’s Service Agreement and is expected to be completed within 10 weeks after signing.
- Transportation to and from filming sites as well as accommodation will be provided to consultants (maximum 2 crew members) by SNV Ghana.
Required Skills or Experience
Eligibility Criteria
- A creative video team with demonstratable experience producing documentary and fictional films, audio and photography, especially for SNV and development organizations with the lead consultant possessing at least 8 years of experience in the film and documentary industry. Please include CV of lead consultant and other members.
- The consultant must demonstrate experience in film directing, with the ability to engage community members and guide them through a planned script to produce a Behavior Change Communication (BCC) film.
- Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and other video editing software to produce quality videos and links to similar videos provided.
- A deep understanding of branding and keen eye for detail.
Note
- The script needed for all production will be developed collaboratively by SNV Ghana consultant.
- All productions must comply with SNV’s and the donor’s video production guidelines, which will be provided by SNV Ghana.

Application and Selection Process
Proposals must be submitted via email to ghanaprocurement@snv.org by close of day 2nd September 2025. Please include Production of Videos/Audios for the Phase II of Healthy Future for All Project in the subject line.
Applicants should submit separate technical and financial proposals, in Word, Excel or PDF. All financial proposals should be submitted in Ghana cedis.
The technical proposal must include:
- Description of the firm’s experience in providing similar services as well as links to prior work done.
- Work samples for films (fictional and documentaries), radio spots and photography.
- CVs of lead consultant and other team members
- Tentative workplan
- Rates for film. Photography and audio in the project areas.
All financial proposals should include VAT and other statutory tax.
