Background
SNV is a not-for-profit international development organization that applies practical know-how to make a lasting difference in the lives of people living in poverty. We use our extensive and long-term in-country presence to apply and adapt our top-notch expertise in agriculture, energy, and WASH to local contexts. We are proud to be a not-for-profit organization that uses project financing to implement our mission. This requires us to work efficiently and to invest in operational excellence.

SNV has been present in Ghana since 1992 and is currently implementing the Healthy Future for All (HF4A) project in the Nandom and Lambussie Districts of the Upper West Region. Spanning from 2022 to 2024, HF4A aims to enhance the quality of life for all residents, with a specific focus on improving the hygienic environment for children under 15 years old, both at home and in school. The project aligns with national strategies and supports Ghana's pursuit of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 6, which targets universal access to water and sanitation by 2030.

Healthy Future for All – Phase 1: WASH in Nandom and Lambussie” was implemented from Jan 2022 to  Dec 2024, to improve the quality of life for all and specifically increase the number of children under 15 years, growing up in a hygienic environment at home and in school. “Healthy Future for All – Phase 2: WASH in Nandom and Lambussie” (HF4A II) builds upon Phase 1 and continues to focus on Ghana´s Nandom and Lambussie districts. This goal will be achieved through a variety of interventions in water, sanitation and hygiene, and the specific goals are to increase the number of children with access to basic sanitation and hygiene facilities at home and school and practicing hygiene behaviours.

Objective of Assignment
SNV Ghana is looking for an experienced video production team to lead the video production and finalization process for several videos intended to:
  • Educate and Demonstrate Practical Solutions: To visually educate community members on how to construct improved sanitation facilities and simple handwashing stations using local materials and techniques.
  • Promote Key Hygiene Behaviors and Health Benefits: To reinforce handwashing with soap at critical times and the consistent use of household toilets as essential behaviors for preventing diseases and improving family health.
  • Inspire Action Through Real-Life Testimonials: To showcase positive stories from individuals and households who have constructed and are using toilets and practicing regular handwashing, motivating others to use innovative local solutions and material substitutions that improve durability and affordability of latrines.

Activity Location

  • The Filming and Audio recording will be completed/executed at the Project Districts in Nandom Municipality and Lambussie Districts.
