Job Description

A Full-Time Computing Teacher is required for immediate employment at a Private Christian Basic (Primary and Junior High) School. Duties will be

• To plan the effective teaching and learning of Computing for pupils,
• To teach and provide learning opportunities in Computing for pupils,
• To assist in maintaining the School's Computer Network.

Required Skills or Experience

• BEd in Computing/ICT/Science or BSc in Computing/ICT/Science with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education or similar qualification
• Must have completed their National Service
• Two years of Post Qualification experience in a similar setting: ie a Private Christian Basic (Primary and JHS) School
• Familiarity with the New National Curriculum.
• A good written and spoken command of the English Language
• Should be able to demonstrate Critical Thinking Skills
• Must be able to participate in all aspects of school activities - academic and co-curricular.

Remuneration will be comensurate with qualifications and experience.

Successful candidates will be required to set a good example in terms of punctuality, attendance, behaviour and dress to enhance the School's reputation and standing with parents and pupils.
