Job Description

Position Summary

The Quantity Surveyor manages all financial aspects of construction projects, including cost estimation, contract administration, and resource optimization, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans.
  • Monitor and control project expenditures.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct value engineering and cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation and reports.
  • Provide advice on procurement strategies and cost-saving measures

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications & Experience

  • BSc. Quantity Surveying OR BSc. Building Technology.
  • Professional membership in relevant body.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction cost management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
