Job Description

Location: Western Region

Scope

The position entails controls and audit of agricultural operations as well as training for validation and decision making.

Main Accountabilities

To undertake daily controls of all agriculture operations in line with their respective FTI’s for validation before payment is made to contractors
To undertake daily audit of agriculture operations in line with the FTI’s to expose operational lapses for corrections to be done for both Nucleus and Outgrowers
To assist in the training of contract labour for the various agricultural operations before the activity commences
To submit daily reports on all controlled/audited operations
Census of both immature and tappable trees
Fumes detection / treatment, corynespora spraying and also mistletoe eradication

Required Skills or Experience

Education

Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture or any related field

Experience

Minimum of 2 year relevant working experience
Experience in the Rubber Industry is an added advantage.

Technical competencies
Computer skills (Microsoft Office…)

Interpersonal Skills
