Required Skills or Experience

Education & Certification

Minimum of a Senior High School (SHS) certificate: vocational training in catering or cookery is an added advantage
Certification in Food Hygiene, Safety, or Nutrition is preferred

Experience

At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a cook, preferably in a school, daycare, or child-focused environment.
Experience preparing balanced and nutritious meals for children of varying ages.

Skills and Knowledge

Knowledge of child nutrition, including portion control and dietary requirement for different age groups
Ability to prepare healthy, balanced, and appealing meals suitable for children
Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene, and allergen management
Ability to plan menus in consultation with school management or nutritionist
Good time management to ensure meals are served promptly

Requirement:

Must be able to cook Ghanaian local dishes.
MUST LIVE IN THE ENCLAVE OF COMMUNITY 25, DAWHENYA, AFIENYA AND ABBEY COMMUNITY.
