Production Driller
The Production Driller is responsible for carrying out safe and efficient drilling operations to achieve planned production targets. This role involves operating drilling equipment, maintaining drill rigs, and ensuring the accuracy of drill holes in accordance with mine design.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate production drilling rigs to drill blast holes of specified size, depth, and orientation.
Interpret and follow drilling patterns, plans, and instructions provided by engineers or supervisors.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of drill rigs to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure drill holes are cleaned, measured, and recorded accurately.
Monitor ground conditions and immediately report hazards or deviations.
Maintain detailed drilling logs and submit daily shift reports.
Work closely with blasting teams to ensure drilled holes meet charge-up requirements.
Follow strict safety protocols and environmental standards.
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Minimum of a High School Certificate.
Technical or vocational training or certification in underground solo is an advantage.
Certificate or coursework in Mining, Engineering, or related technical field.
Experience operating mechanized machines such as Sandvik, Atlas Copco or similar Solo machines

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operate the Easer L raise boring rig safely and efficiently.
Set up and align the machine according to mine plans and survey markings.
Drill vertical and angled slot holes, box holes, and service raises.
