Event Description
The Ghana Consulting Engineers Association (GCEA),in collaboration with the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC),is organising the following International Contracts Training
Courses (FIDIC Accredited Training):
- The Practical use of the 1999 FIDIC Conditions of Contract (FIDIC Contract Training Module 1) and Multilateral Development Banks Harmonised Conditions of Contract.
- Management of Claims and the Resolution of Disputes (FIDIC Contract Training Module 2).
Course Facilitator
Mr Bogdan Oprea (BSc CEng DEA) is accredited FIDIC trainer and experienced in the use of FIDIC Contracts who gained international experience in various civil engineering fields in a number of countries (Europe, Far East, Middle East and Africa). He is a member of Dispute Resolution Board Foundation of the Romanian Association of Consulting Engineers. He served recently as Mediator, Negotiator and Adjudicator under FIDIC conditions of Contract on several International contracts. Mr Bogdan is a facilitator in the fields of Civil Engineering, Buildings and Infrastructures.
Fees
- Fee per course: €750 per delegate
- Fee for both courses: €1,500 per delegate
- Course Fee includes refreshments, lunch, course materials and certificates.

Course Targets
Target groups are professionals from the Ghana Water Company Ltd, Ghana Highway Authority, Departments of Urban & Feeder Roads, Ministries and Agencies, Private Sector Employers, members of the Ghana Consulting Engineers Association, Contractors, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Architects, Legal Advisors and all involved with the implementation and management of large contract works.
