Job Description

We are a reputable financial institution seeking to engage the services of an experienced, confident and performance oriented professional to be employed as TRAINING & PERFORMANCE EVALUATION MANAGER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advise the HR Manager and other line managers on training and performance management issues
  • Responsible for new staff induction and training 
  • Designs and facilitates training.
  • Ensures the effective implementation of the company’s performance management system (IPMF). This requires training of all staff on the IPMF and monitoring the cycle.
  • Ensures employee development by putting in place a Career Development and Succession plan for the entire institution and following up to ensure effective  implementation. 
  • Develops and implements an exhaustive training strategy and plan for all employees ensuring that implementation is within budget.
  • Supports other HR related functions and projects like Job Evaluation and Benefit surveys
  • Supports departmental heads in identifying training needs and ensures that at any point in time all employees have the required skill and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Monitors, reviews, analyses, provide feedback on Performance Appraisals and ensure all forms are properly filed.
  • Performs other legally acceptable duties relevant to job role as may be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum of university degree in Business Administration (HR Option) or a relevant field and a professional qualification in Human Resource Management
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in Human Resource Management or similar position 

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

  • Very good working knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and performance management systems
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate training
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • People management skills
  • Report writing skills
