Job Description

A thriving chain of restaurants organisation is in search of a dynamic Human Resource Officer to join their team.

• Direct report: Managing Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• Provide counseling on policies and procedures
• Draft employee handbook and other relevant policies for the firm
• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
• Create and implement effective onboarding plans
• Develop training and development programs
• Assist in performance management processes
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
• Provide support services to other departments as deemed necessary

Required Skills or Experience

Education/Qualification

• A first degree in Human Resource Management from an accredited Tertiary Institution

Skills and Work Experience

• Must possess a minimum of three years’ experience in a related role within the hospitality industry
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must possess basic computational ability
• Must possess computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint

Remuneration Package
