Job Description

  • Locations:  Madina, Accra
Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Officer will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, assessing, hiring, onboarding, and retaining the right talent to meet the diverse needs of our clients and In-house. The ideal candidate will also ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws and build a good working relationship with both existing and new hiring managers.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job specifications.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Maintain a strong candidate pipeline and database for future hiring needs.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in the development of job descriptions and recruitment materials.
  • Organize pre-interview briefing sessions for shortlisted candidates before scheduling them for the client’s interview.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with Hiring Managers to be the first point of call to their recruitment needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Ensure accountability by submitting timely reports to management (weekly and monthly).

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate sourcing techniques.
  • Proficient in MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel, in particular).
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to recruitment.
  • A strategic mindset for sourcing and engaging talent.
  • A passion for finding the right fit for each position.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
