SNV has been present in Ghana since 1992 and is currently implementing a second phase of a Water, Sanitation and Hygiene and Nutrition in Ghana's Nandom and Lambussie Districts in the Upper West Region. The project is called Healthy Future for All (HF4A) Phase II and it is aimed to improve the quality of life for all and specifically increase the number of children under 15 years growing up in a hygienic environment at home and in school. To improve access to safe water in communities, the project will drill, and construct point source boreholes in Nandom Municipality and Lambussie District. The intervention is fully funded by the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust.
The Terms of Reference (TOR) sets out the scope of works for interested consultancy firms into hydrogeological investigations to participate in the project. The rationale behind this TOR is to provide a basic framework to guide interested tenderers in their submissions to undertake the works described herein.
Objective
The main objective of the assignment is to:
Conduct Hydrogeological investigation and provide supervision services for (drilling, construction, pump testing, platform construction and installation of handpumps) in communities in the Nandom and Lambussie District in the Upper West Region.
Timing/Duration of Assignment Reporting Line Required Skills or Experience Tender Requirements
Similar Construction Experience
Participation as contractor, management contractor or subcontractor, in at least two contracts of similar nature and evidence of works (award letters or completion certificates) should be submitted for verification.
