Job Summary
Are you an HR professional with a passion for purpose-driven work and building strong people systems? Our sustainability and ESG consulting firm is seeking a Human Resource Consultant to support our growing team with strategic HR guidance, systems development, and people-first practices—all in a flexible, remote setting.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide strategic HR consulting on recruitment, onboarding, and retention practices aligned with our values.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR systems and plans, including performance management, compensation frameworks, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Support the creation of inclusive hiring practices and equitable workplace policies.
  • Advise on employee engagement, professional development, and organizational culture.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices across remote teams.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.

Required Skills or Experience

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as an HR consultant, generalist, or business partner.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems design, compliance, and remote team dynamics.
  • Familiarity with sustainability, ESG, or purpose-driven organizations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) initiatives.
  • Knowledge of HRIS platforms and digital collaboration tools.
  • Background in coaching, facilitation, or leadership development.
