REPORTS TO: Plantations Manager
JOB SUMMARY
To manage the field operational activities of the Oil Palm Section of the Plantations Department. Plan, develop and implement systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the Section to leverage productivity and growth of the entire Plantations Department and the Company as a whole.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities shall include, but not limited to;
Implement the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other policies
Be responsible for the maintenance of activities in the estate as a basis of good “crop making”.
Be responsible for all harvesting activities till delivery of the crops to the mill as a basis of good “crop taking”.
Ensure that overall manning requirements are met to achieve targets of the estate under your responsibility.
Oversee daily field activities, ensuring that planting, upkeep (weeding, pruning), and the harvesting of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) are executed efficiently to meet specific tonnage targets.
Train and develop competent workforce in your department in order to meet the Company’s objectives and ensure the continuity of its operations smoothly.
Enforce rigorous safety protocols throughout the estate, ensuring all field staff use proper protective equipment and that operations align with environmental sustainability standards and local regulations.
Under the guidance of Plantations Manager, prepare the annual budget for the estate and be accountable for adherence to the approved budget.
Ensure the prudent and efficient of materials and resources of the Section.
Shall submit such Daily, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports on the operations under your responsibility as would be directed by your department head and management.
To perform any other lawful duties assigned by the Plantations Manager and the General Manager as and when required.
RSPO, HSE, and ISO Responsibilities:
Comply with all applicable RSPO and ISO 14001:2015 requirements, including policies and plans, as applicable

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in agriculture, Agric-Economics, Natural Resources Management or Environmental Science.
Minimum of twelve (12) years work experience in managing a Section or Department of an organization.
Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Oil Palm plantations
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Knowledge in the use of the computer (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the internet, i.e. e-mail, Outlook, and spreadsheets.
Proven people management skills.
Familiarity with agricultural labor laws, industrial safety standards, and environmental certifications (such as RSPO standards).
Familiar with the operations and management of Agro-based industries.
Knowledge in Oil Palm farm/planting/harvesting management.

CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, POLICY ADVOCACY AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT SUPPORT
The Ghana Private Sector Competitiveness Programme Phase II (GPSCP II), in technical collaboration with GIZ MOVE/ComCashew, invites qualified individual consultants to submit proposals to provide organizational development, policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement support to the Association of Cashew Processors Ghana (ACPG).
The assignment seeks to strengthen ACPG’s governance, operational effectiveness, policy advocacy capacity, stakeholder engagement, and long-term institutional and financial sustainability.
Scope of Assignment
The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting an institutional needs assessment, strengthening ACPG’s policy advocacy capacity, facilitating stakeholder mapping, developing an Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy, providing technical advisory support, and preparing an institutional sustainability and resource mobilisation plan.
Duration
The assignment will be implemented from August to November 2026, with an estimated level of effort of 35 working days.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
A minimum of a master’s degree in organizational development, Public Policy, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field;
At least ten years of relevant professional experience in organizational development, advocacy strategy formulation, and institutional strengthening of business membership organizations or industry associations;
Demonstrated knowledge of Ghana’s agricultural value chains and regulatory environment;
Excellent written and spoken English; and
Proficiency in Twi or another Ghanaian language.
Experience in the cashew or oil palm sector will be an advantage.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Asanko Gold Ghana Ltd is seeking to employ a well-motivated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the team. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement within a high-performance mining processing environment. The successful candidate will contribute and undertake maintenance activities in accordance with the approved quality management systems to ensure plant availability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure compliance with the highest safety standards, complying with OSHAS 18001 and environmental management (ISO 14001) as well as company policies and regulations
Generate, issue, and control daily job cards for work to be undertaken.
Ensure that all electrical critical spares are maintained within specified limits.
Ensure accurate documentation of all electrical maintenance work.
Identify tasks and develop the appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs) to cover those tasks.
Ensure that procedures for safe execution of tasks are in place and adhered to (these include Task Instructions, Permits to Work, Task Risk Assessments, and Toolbox Talks).
Ensure that electrical infrastructure and equipment are maintained in accordance with standards to meet expected reliability and ‘uptime’ Key Performance Indicators.
Communicate routinely and effectively with the supervisor and other stakeholders as required.
Ensure regulatory compliance.
Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Knowledge and Experience
Must have a minimum of Degree/HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of practical electrical engineering experience in a mining or related environment, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory position.
Must have MV switching experience and a strong skill set in working on MV motors.
Must be experienced in Process heating systems including Kilns and Ovens.
Strong understanding of plant operations, process control, and safety systems.
